Privacy note
PlantVaidya is in a trial with a small group of testers. This page says, in plain words, what we keep and what happens to it.
What we store
- Your account: email, name, mobile number and a scrambled form of your password. We cannot read your password.
- Plants you save: the photo, the health report and any notes you add.
- What you write: chat messages, community posts and comments, and reminders.
- Your settings: language, theme, and the profile answers you choose to give, such as your city and where you grow.
- A photo you analyze but do not save to a plant is not kept by us after the report is made.
Who else sees your photos and questions
To write a report or answer a question, we send your photo, your notes and your question to AI services: Google Gemini and Pl@ntNet. To add weather advice, we send your city to the Open-Meteo weather service. To see how the site is used and how fast it loads, Vercel, which hosts the site, counts page visits without cookies and without knowing who you are. These services handle the data under their own terms. We do not sell your data and we do not send it to advertisers.
This is a trial
The advice comes from AI and can be wrong. Treat it as a suggestion, and check with a local agriculture officer or expert before using any chemical. The two developers running the trial can see the data in order to fix problems. Things may change or be reset during the trial.
How to delete your data
Open Profile and choose "Delete account". Your account is closed at once and everything in it is removed after 14 days; signing in again within those 14 days lets you restore it. You can also ask the person who invited you to the trial, and we will delete it for you.
